They're being extra careful if none of them are going to risk grabbing Abdle, so Gray's mindscrew will be impossible right now unless we somehow convince them it is safe to hold Abdle.
But there are still two or three or four tricks up our sleeves.
1, the performers, but that's only if they can get here and deal with the complication. I'm betting it's Steinhardt’s guys. Unless Steinhardt is in cahoots with the cat, we'll have to stall and hope for the best. Hoping he's not like, hiding here, like behind the leaves up there in that tree. Right now, we'll probably have to not rely on the performers getting here, but still stall for time with what we can reasonably do
2, Us lesser demons talking to the construct, I do not think this will work since it is still allied to the cat, but we have seemed to have bonded with the construct, and Kenku said we can have it after negotiations, it's practically on our side, and ally. And we lesser demons can talk to allies. We can probably secretly order it to do something at some point. I don't think we should talk to it right now just yet, the cat can see us lesser demons somehow, and if she finds out we can talk to it this early on, we'll waste that chance. At the very least I want to see how this exchange will work before we risk going over to talk to it. It will probably be easier to talk to it if it came to bobbie so we can stay where we are and not have to move towards it letting the cat see us. again, It might not be considered our ally just yet as it is still working with the cat right now so I'm not going to rely on this too much.
3, Abdle's new power, but he'll have to be awake for that. Before we wake him though, again, I want to see how this exchange is going to work. Perhaps there is still a way we can have gray help and we won't have to wake up Abdle yet. We'll have to find the right moment for Abdle to use that power first
4, Gray opportunity. If Kenku or the cat isn't going to risk holding Abdle, they might send the construct to do it instead since they don't see it as a living thinking thing. But it's my belief that it is.
Maybe Gray can still speak with the construct, especially if we lesser demons cannot and it doesn't see us as an ally. so we don't have to risk talking to it and letting the cat know.
for now, A. ask how this exchange is going to work. Seems like the most logical way of doing this. like that spider and wasp story, we'll have to be patient, and wait for an opportunity to strike or flight. We can find out any kind of opportunity through this, especially if she lowers her guard as we act like we are following her rules.
I can already tell B and C will be a terrible ideas, moreso B. She will just hurt Gram in response to our threats, and she'll just say she can just steal whatever we attempt to pay her with, and hurt gram for wasting time.
