Another chapter in our wholesome slice-of-life for the Yamelle-Damas.

What Happens? It’s The Sims! But with chupians. No plot, just living it. You’re all probably here for some lore! A very simple family quest.
NSFW for bathhouse nudity and potential lewds.

We return to the village of Du-Gar; a warm alp on the eve of summer! You can find anything you need within walking distance. All hardworking men and women freshen up for the day at Dama’s Bathhouse before opening their--

You better not be taking up all the hot water, Deemus!

We got, like, 5 boilers dude!

There’s no solace in this house once the Yamelle-Damas are awake!! Ma opens the bedroom curtains to let the light beam on her second-youngest (aged 6). The wrinkly one grumblesighs like his father.

Vikta: Why do we gotta go to the dumb temple anyway? It’s the middle of the week!

Yamelle: I better not hear that kinda talk when we’re over there! You’re paying your respects to your pantheon!

Yamelle: Out of bed, now! Git! Git! Git!

Vikta: I am! I am!

Having three children was a juggling act, but four is really pushing it! Mama Yamelle huffs and returns to the kitchen where Sashi (9), Deemus (or “Del”, 8), and Nummax (4) make a ruckus at the table.

Sashi: Ugh, swineberry crunch? There’s never anything new around hereeee.

Yamelle: Huff... well go eat the rest of those brittle chips in the pantry.

Sashi: Mooooom I hate brittle chips!

Yamelle: I thought you liked brittle chips!

Sashi: Mom! You always do that! I stopped eating them when I was, like, four!

Del: Yeah, and Nummax licks every chip and puts them back.

Nummax: No I don’t!

Del: Yuh-huh. I saw you lick all the powder off of each and every one and put them back.

Nummax: NO I DON’T STOP LYIIIING!

The furless youngster groggily steps into the dining room.

Sashi: Well look who finally showed up.

Del: Taking a break from your cave dwelling?

Vikta: Screw this. I’m going back to my room.

Yamelle: Vikta! You’re not wearing a tank top to pray! You’ll freeze and have to hug your brothers again!

Vikta: But all my robes are in the laundry.

Yamelle: Now!

Dama is below with the customers, likely behind the register at the bottom of the stairs. Yamelle is at her limit as problems don’t solve themselves. She used to be so good to keep them all in line. In any case, which task is imperative?
>a. Finish making breakfast
>b. Separate Del and Nummax
>c. Dress Vikta properly
>d. Threaten to ground someone if they don’t behave
>e. Put the fear of Dama in all of them

You better D-liver on that threat.

D.
Give Sashi a bowl of brittlechips out of spite and make Del and Nummax do chores for being annoying.
Congratulate Vikta on being the least annoying child.

A) if you don't there will be hunger complaints on top of all the other ones later
>>
No. 1131773 ID: fe0bf7

B. Best way to do this is to have one of them do the laundry so that Vikta can dress properly. two birds one stone.

A! Food is a quick path to soothing emotional troubles! Failing that then you could just threaten to ground them.

Okay seriously you need birth control.

Why can't you buy a gamestation from the local intergalactic shopping hub?

Might as well order both in a catalog or something.

Glad to know upsettingly-named cereal is a universal standard.

Honestly? Combination of A, B, C, and E:

Tell the boys to sit on opposite ends of the table and have Vikta go get dressed while you finish cooking breakfast, or so help you, you'll get Dama up here to deal with them while you go mind the register.

>>1131784

Yeah, for real, though I fear that Vikta would spend all his time in front of the thing, and then we'd have to hear it from the others and the inevitable, "mom said it's MY turn on the gamestation!" turning into a whole ordeal.

A and E.
A mother ranting as she cooks is the prelude to a symphony of trouble for kids. With her clattering pots louder as percussion instruments warning them of a crescendo.

Its a bit passive aggressive but its also a little performative gives kids a chance to not be the one still misbehaving when the prelude ends

Plus its fun to bang pots and pans in frustration

I was not aware of an episode 2. Sensational!

I don't know what to vote for, but as a mother Yamelle is capable of multitasking.

A combination of some votes can probably be done. Depending on which child is a shut-in, grounding would not be as effective on them as the others, though you should really finish cooking.

If the eldest is somewhat responsible and currently not the one that's underdressed, you can ask them to help dress their siblings properly, else threaten dad on them.

>I stopped eating brittle chips when I was, like, four.

You could have hit my chest with a sledge hammer and my heart wouldn't be any more broken.

Okay, I think also vote for A & E
A fun channel then, and a fun choice combo now.

Yamelle huffs and tries to ignore all the current noise. Perhaps they’ll calm down once they have something in their bellies. She mixes the boiling pot of water-oats and adds some sinnaprika zest.

Del: Hey mom, can I hang out with Januk today?

Yamelle: hrmm We’ll see after the sermon. Okay? Mommy’s a bit focused now.

Sashi: Heeey, who put their hair in my bowl?

Vikta: Don’t look at me.

Oough. Ma stirs faster. There’s no time for laundry so there’s only one surefire solution.

Yamelle: Deemus, let your brother borrow one of your robes.

Del: Sure, he can just go basket-diving in my dirty laundry.

Yamelle: No--have him pick one of the clean ones.

Del: Don’t matter. I fart on every one of them.

Nummax: PPTHTHPTH!

Tsk.

Yamelle: Sashi, dress your brother!

Vikta: I can dress myself. I’m not two.

Yamelle: Then get your wrinkled kiester going! If you’re not dressed by--

Vikta: I know I know!

Vikta returns with a new robe in time for breakfast to be splattered in their bowls.

Nummax: I’d rather eat a bowl of moosecorn.

>There will be groundings for everyone if [they don’t] start acting civilized.
Yamelle: If even ONE of you rascals doesn’t cease your misbehaving, ESPECIALLY at church, then I’ll have you all empty the fur traps in the bathhouse for a week!

A chorus of ‘eeew’ harmonizes on this floor.

Yamelle: Eat! We’re already going to be five minutes late at this point.

The children comply.

Water-oats are, at least, tolerable despite blandness. Several minutes pass as there is finally some decent peace and quiet in the house. There can be a plethora of stuff the children can talk about while Yamelle cleans up the kitchen. Not limited to:
• Play a game at the table, like I Spy or something.
• Debate who is Ma/Da’s favorite child
• Plan fun things after the dumb sermon (together or separately)
• Something popular with their generation (those choomers don’t understand the hype)
• Prank someone without Ma looking:
→ like covertly fling some food at someone
→ yoink someone’s tail fur
→ or say “What’s that?” Then dump your food in someone’s bowl when they’re distracted
→ or something else guaranteed to be a barrel of laughs
• Mention the terrible strange things in the woods they cannot go into (probably to scare Nummax)
• Ask if Vikta is adopted (insist he is)
• Think about what you’ll do when you grow up
• Just talk about anything, really. I’m not a kid anymore; I don’t know what they do. Do kids even talk to each other anymore with their tiktoks in their faces? You know in my day--
>>

tell the story of the thing that lives in the woods and comes in at night to steal the fur out of the fur traps. And if you sleep without a blanket it'll get you too. That's why Vikta's got no fur.

Talk about cool bugs you've found, and consider building a possible terrarium to put them all in.
It's a box, and you put aaaaall the bugs in the box and watch them do nature stuff. How hard can it be?
(Que some disappointed children noises when some bugs eat each other).

The older kids get teased for having cooties (is that a thing in their culture?) For liking so-and-so.

Ask Ma if they can have (insert weird kids food) in their porridge / oatmeal next time.

Ask questions about their religion, like why are there so many goddesseseses, and like if there's a super goddess that punches bad guys.

Contemplate the meaning of life and achieve chim, then forget a second later since yal are kids.
