On this day ten years ago there was a young buck who decided they’d try out this questing thing. They didn’t know how to write or draw, but that didn’t stop the young buck from trying. Armed with a mouse, mspaint, and a keyboard they started their journey telling adventures!
It wasn’t easy, but the buck poured time and effort into it. Along the way they managed to afford a drawing tablet and an art program to further develop skills for their newfound hobby.
The buck even made many new friends along the way. They supported the buck with valuable art and writing critique. Throughout the years, the buckster improved upon his craft with their advice.
They wrote many stories, from a blind deer fighting off a cult, to a lesbian couple escaping a hostage situation at a bar, then going almost full circle to a story about an ANGRY DEER WIFE who ended up fighting off a cult. A few of the buck’s friends even collaborated on making quests!
If you were to go back ten years and tell that young buck everything they would accomplish, they’d probably scoff and say “Yeah right, I’ll never get better than this.”
Now today, that very deer still stands here working on their next story update; drawing the next set of panels. Excited to share the next turn of events and hear what the readers will come up next for the characters.

I still can’t believe I actually made it to the ten year mark on writing and drawing here for Questden. It’s crazy to think about everything that’s happened over all these years.
I went through and graduated from college, worked two internships and four different jobs, powered through a surgery, drawn well over a thousand quest panels, finished writing multiple quests, and met so many people and friends on here.
I don’t want to get too mushy and emotional and name anyone in specific here, out of worries I might forget someone and make them feel left out. If I’ve ever reached out to you for help or asking for critique on a panel or some writing, thank you so much for taking the time to help me get to where I am now.
To those who’ve helped me out with art lessons over the years, I can’t even begin to thank you enough.
To everyone out there that has read and enjoyed my quests over the years, thank you for tuning in and being there with me along the ride! I wouldn’t have made it this far without you and your support.
And to everyone who’s thought about giving writing or drawing a try, but hasn’t yet. Just start and give it a try. You really never know where it’s going to take you.
