Came in too strongly, Bobbie. Get back into character. B.

it'll be bad if they link the rat with Ebbio, especially if they find out/already found out this is one of Bobbie's spies.

Do we need a reason beyond it looks good? (Well it's technically no lie...) Spy rat on mantis?
>>
No. 1120116 ID: 616428

B. Nothing more needs to be said. If he's wearing a mask, he'll be understanding about why we are disguised.

I'd send rat back out, probably to search for Kenku again, or look into the troupe, but that pear is out and about, as I don't see her in this room. We shall wait.
>>
No. 1120122 ID: 616428

On second thought, spy rat needs training, and if angel pear isn't in this room and is instead out and about in the halls, the rat should be safe enough with spying on people in this room instead. If we spy on someone, it would have to be those that are distracted. that also means we can't spy on anyone outside like the traveling troupe or Kenku. Though if we get another chance, we need to have spy rat track and follow Kenku.

The girl looking out the window while distracted, is too close to Actus Opus, and would be bad if the rat gets found by him after he already linked that rat with us with us saying he's our pet.

Which is also why we shouldn't have the rat spy on him either. He isn't distracted at the moment.

Vance and Maya Din are chill with us, would be awkward if they caught the rat, and we'd have to rescue it again and explain ourselves.

I want to have more faith in Gramleza, we can ask her how she went after the party.

Shadowy goggles guy seems observant enough to spot rat with those big specs. they like Actus are not distracted with anything

That leaves strange man with hole talking to metal person, man with smiling mask looking at paintings, the man talking to the woman, the mantis, and the familiar woman near the bird cage.

I think Spy rat will spy on strange man with hole talking to metal person. They might be discussing something important that we might need to know.

Silly spy rat, I said spy on the the person with the hole on his chest talking to the metal person. Not the regular man talking to the regular woman. Eh, I'll give him a pass because he just woke up, and needed time to process his mind. But when he's ready, please go to the actual targets.

NOT b. If we ask them that, they'll feel obliged to ask us the same question. lets ask A instead. We explained our reasoning why we're here, it be their turn now. Also, would be good to keep a good relationship with them potentially.

Oh tell Ratislav no need to apologize. We heard enough from the first group to deduce they are... ambitious. Either we learn a new way of using fire... or we get burned. Per the new group, dynastic issues? Eh. Guess there's opportunities. However the big prize was our masked pal. Should what he says be true... well transitions are messy and dangerous but full of opportunities. Very big ones. Gives plans for Abdle's future... Either way let's speak to goggles. He'll probably figure out any spy we send. Sure he may be amused by the attempt but it may also just annoy 'em so direct approach it is.

Talk to Maya Din and Vance. since we are on friendly terms with Maya, we can probably reveal our identity to her if she can keep a secret. She might be able to give us more info this way about the others here.

Spy rat can keep tabs on mantis or continue listening in on the current conversation (we might learn what grandson they are talking about.

It is sad that a creature who eats fears is itself afraid of have its own identity. As for their question answer with God of Appeasement, that is what is the popular choice for Heroes Guild.

Well hey, turnabout is fair play after you accused me of worshipping a god out of fearing the future, or loss of control. Seemed only fair to have a fun silly little tease right back at you. Don't take it so hard, Ooh hoo hoo! *pat their back to show no hard feelings*

By the way, besides following a god out of fearing the future, or loss of control, what do you think of those who worship a god out of fear of that god's wrath? Some for example make sacrifices to a god to prevent a god given calamity.

Also, nothing new going on with what the rat is spying on with the mantis and the woman made of stone? Maybe either see what hand signals the woman is stone is making with her hands, or perhaps have the rat come back to us to take a break. I don't know, I just have the feeling having the rat stay out for too long will have him be spotted, especially after hearing that warning Actus made, and the death of some of our spies to the cat. Leaning towards calling the rat back to us

I think after talking to hooded scarecrow here, lets find Lucidity Divinity, ask for some wine, and take to it the mantis as a good introduction and to cheer her up.

A. I don't think we will get much more out of them with the language barrier. But there is one yes or no question I want to ask the servant considering she is made of rock: Ask if she knows Rock Vibration.

See how she reacts to that name. If she knows him, and doesn't look disgusted, then we might be able to use him as a translator some time in the future after the party if we want to make an alliance in the future.

If C is chosen, go talk to Maya Din, and as I suggested before, see if she can keep a secret and tell her who we really are depending on her response. As an ally, she might give us some tips for this party.
